The Mission of the Palmyra Public School District is to work cooperatively with the available resources of home and community, including business and industry, to offer each child the educational opportunities that will enable him/her to function politically, economically, and socially in a democratic society and to fully facilitate their development within a safe and secure school environment.
Preschool Program Information

2015-2016 Integrated Preschool Program

The Palmyra School District is pleased to announce that we will again be offering a tuition-based preschool program for the 2015-2016 school year. There will be two half-day preschool inclusion classes for four-year olds. The goal of these inclusion programs are to bring together children with special needs with their typically developing peers in a collaborative classroom environment where students experience a variety of early reading and math concepts, language development, fine and gross motor skills, related arts and social skills. The curriculum used in these programs are state approved, developmentally appropriate, and based on best practice in early childhood education. The preschool programs are aligned to the district’s kindergarten program, and taught by a certified teacher. In addition, each class will have an instructional assistant.

If you have any questions or need further information, please call 856-786-9300.
