Educator of the Year Nomination

2019-2020 GOVERNOR’S EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR PROGRAM

The New Jersey Department of Education has announced the application process for the 2019-2020 Governor’s Educator of the Year Program.

Do you know a classroom teacher or educational services professional who is dedicated, inspiring, and making a difference?  If so, please take the time to recommend this person by completing a nomination form and returning it to the building principal by December 2, 2019

We encourage the school community as well as the school faculty to honor one teacher and one educational services professional at Charles Street School and one teacher and one educational services professional at Palmyra High School for this prestigious honor.  Also, this year we will be including one teacher from Palmyra Middle School. A committee will be formed to review and select the candidates.  Recipients of this award at the school level will then have the opportunity to vie for recognition at the county, state, and national levels.

The eligibility criteria and nomination form are provided below for your use.  Nominations may be e-mailed (PHS c/o dcecchini@palmyra.k12.nj.us; CSS c/o smason@palmyra.k12.nj.us) or dropped off at the main office of the school by December 2, 2019. Please note the deadline dates for each school above.
