focus on Anna Paszkiewicz-speaking at NJ school board convention with photos from Atlantic City

Atlantic City TODAY: We are #PalmyraProud of our own Anna Paszkiewicz, scholar-athlete, senior & the New Jersey Association of Student Council's Representative to the State Board of Education!

That is a mouthful of a title for such a dynamic young woman! Anna came to us from Riverton and is setting the state on its ear. She sits on our local board, representing the 1050 students in Palmyra at our Palmyra Board Meetings. She also does the same for ALL of the NJ students at the State Board of Education meetings for 1.38million students!

Today she was the first student ever to sit in on the panel: DISCUSSION ON PUBLIC EDUCATION with the NJSBA Governmental Staff.

Other Panelists included:

Kathy Goldenberg, President
Dr. Nedd James Johnson, Vice President
Dr. Ronald K. Butcher
Mary G. Bennett
Dr. Claudine Keenan
Ahmed Shehata
& of course, Anna Paszkiewicz, NJ State Board Student Representative

Anna was happy to see our interim superintendent, Mr. Mark Pease & Board Member, Ms. Kate Allen-Yoakum in the room along with Palmyra Student Council Advisor, Mrs. Kim Martino and recently retired Executive Director of the NJ Association of Student Councils (NJASC), Mrs. Wendy Booth Sitzler (PHS ALUM & retired PHS faculty!).
