sheet music background with student wearing choir robe- congratulations to our state choir member

Congratulations & accolades go to our amazingly talented sophomore, Olivia Gallagher, who recently performed with the All-State Mixed Choir. Olivia had to go through an extremely rigorous audition process against the best singers in the State of NJ! The process consisted of scales, solo and a quartet performance. From these auditions, she was selected for the Mixed Choir where she rehearsed heavily & then performed at the NJEA State Conference in November and again at the prestigious NJPAC Center later in the month.

Olivia spoke passionately this year at a Board of Education meeting regarding maintaining the Choir class as well as creating a Choir Club as an extracurricular. She is an excellent student who is typically very quiet but she made sure to be bold in her Mamma Mia! performance last year as a rocking bridesmaid!

Olivia prioritizes vocal music (she can be heard 6th period every day warming up) but she also participates in the Palmyra Players, German Club, Art Club, Interact, Panthers with Heart, plays on the Tennis Team and if that wasn't enough, she is in Student Council as Vice President of the Spirit Week Winning Sophomore Class! She is among an elite group that has achieved State Choir Status from Palmyra with only a few others before her. We are #PalmyraProud of all that she contributes to the community & the school & look forward to hearing her at the Winter Concert next week! #SingingPanther #PantherSoprano
