Congratulations to Camila Teixeira, a junior here at Palmyra High School. Mr. Joe Rosato learned of this new recognition from the Burlington County Education Association (BCEA) and he nominated his best student with some of the kind words below:
Camila is a Multilingual Leaner who holds herself to a high level in terms of personal and academic growth. Camila is a leader and active member in her Church while also participating in several different school activities. Camila respects everyone, maintains high grades, and wishes to pursue a post-secondary education with a focus in Psychology and Social Services. As a Brazilian immigrant, Camila Teixeira is fluent in Portuguese and is now an Advanced English learner.
Mr. Anthony Rizzo, president of the BCEA came to PHS personally to award Camila with her trophy, plaque & a big bag of soft pretzels to share with her friends.
