Mindful Monday Moment:
REACH WITHIN for a moment of calm awareness & a mental SNACK.
Carla Naumburg, PhD shares in her article "How to Take a Mindful S.N.A.C.K. Moment" on mindful.org: "The next time you’re feeling stressed out, overwhelmed, confused, or unsure, take a quick moment to have a S.N.A.C.K. But instead of reaching for the brownies or chips, try a mindfulness snack: Stop, Notice, Accept, and be Curious and Kind in response to whatever you find. It doesn’t take long, but it can go a long way towards making your day feel easier, less stressful, and more enjoyable."
Not all snacks need to consist of food! Stop/ Notice/ Accept/ Be Curious/ Act on Kindness and see how you can get yourself back on track for your task at hand. Be sure to Take Action on one of them & track your success!
As part of our District goals, we will continue to share mindful reminders from our SEL Toolbox. #BeingMindful #PalmyraStrong #MindfulMondaylove #MindfulHabits
