We are #PalmyraProud to continue to be a stop on Senator Singleton's Summer Meals Tour! Last week, Palmyra & Riverton families were given the chance to have lunch on Team Troy!
The Summer Meals Tour brings along Commissioner Dan O'Connell, folks from Burlington County Human Services, the Center for Family Services, a phenomenal STEM student, Deven Butani, sharing his scientific magic with take-home science kits & BookSmiles! BookSmiles founder, Larry Abrams was on hand to share a free book with the families that attended, as well as interested students from our CSCC Summer Camp program!
Our Interim Superintendent, Mark Pease was on hand to welcome families & learn more about the programs on the Summer Meals Tour.
We appreciate being included in this Summer Meals Tour ever since it began during COVID. So many families with food challenges look forward to this chance to come over to school & be able to take home fruit/ water & a hoagie of their choice! We are proud to have Senator Singleton's support of our District families.
