THE PALMYRA SCHOOL DISTRICT IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE WILL AGAIN BE OFFERING A TUITION-BASED PRESCHOOL PROGRAM FOR THE 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR.
There will be 2 half-day preschool integrated classes for four-year-olds. Lottery applicants must be 4 years old by October 1st of 2022.
The goal of this program continues to be to bring together children with special needs with their typically developing peers. This collaborative classroom environment is where students of all skills experience a variety of early reading and math concepts, language development, fine and gross motor skills, related arts and social skills. The curriculum used in this program is state approved, developmentally appropriate, and based on best practice in early childhood education.
Our preschool program is aligned to the district’s kindergarten program, and taught by a certified teacher.

Selection for the program spaces will be by lottery drawing, which is done in May. You will receive notification from the district as to your child's enrollment status no later than May 6th, 2022. The District makes no guarantee as to morning or afternoon session. Parents who are applying must be willing to accept either session, however, efforts will be made to honor a request for a particular session.
The 2022-2023 cost for the program is $3200 paid in four installments including a $100.00 non-refundable registration fee which will be required upon acceptance to the program and applicable to your first tuition payment.
