PHS Gymnasium with Basketball UPDATE

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Our winter athletic season continues to chug along.  Our PHS Boys & Girls Basketball Teams both had very productive weeks.  Here is a quick look at how they did:

The Boys Basketball Team had a 2-1 week. On Monday they defeated STEM Civics 46-34.  Chris McCarron led all scorers with 22 points while Kwinten Ives finished with 17 points.  The boys won back-to-back games by defeating Maple Shade High School on Wednesday, 45-37.  Chris McCarron again led the Panthers in scoring with 17 points.  Damon Bailey added 11 important points in the win over Shade.  The boys are now 2-6 on the season and will play Riverside on Wednesday.

The Girls Basketball Team continued their hot start to the season going 3-0 on the week!  The girls defeated New Egypt High School, 32-23.  Sophia Wilburn led the team in scoring with 11 points while Cadence Anderson chipped in 8 points.  The Lady Panthers defeated Group 3 Moorestown High School Friday Night by a score of 46-11.  Seniors Olivia Falicki (11 points) and Liz Shover (10 points) led the balanced scoring.  The girls finished off their undefeated week with a Saturday morning win over Pemberton High School, 51-17.  Seniors Olivia Falicki (8 points) and Liz Shover (9 points) again paced the Panthers.  The girls finished with 12 different scorers in the game.  They enter this week with a record of 6-1 and will play at Woodbury on Friday and at Riverside on Saturday.
