Polar Bear Track Meet in March

Good Afternoon and Happy Spring Everyone,

Last week we had a couple of winter athletic events.  Here’s a look at how our student-athletes performed.

Last Wednesday, our Winter Track and Field athletes took part in a unique opportunity to run in a Polar Bear Meet at Bordentown High School.   Here are the top results:

  • Boys 100- Senior Isaiah McPherson took 2nd and Junior Tyree Bull took 3rd
  • Boys 200 -Tyree Bull took 2nd and Isaiah Mc Pherson took 3rd
  • Boys 800 -Junior Dominic Belton took 1st
  • Boys 1600 -Sophomore Joe Russell took 2nd and Senior Aiden Hartman 4th
  • Girls 100 -Junior Kaylah Latimore took 2nd
  • Girls 200 -Freshman Maura Russell took 3rd
  • Girls 800 -Freshman Cadence Anderson took 2nd
  • Girls 1600 Cadence Anderson took 2nd

There were a limited number of events run but our student-athletes performed beautifully!

Our Wrestling Team opened their season with an away match at Maple Shade High School on Thursday.  The Panthers defeated the Shaders 52-30.  Freshman Trevor Young led off the dual with a major decision victory.  Alec Glynn, Salvador Olivares, Pat McCarron, Braayan Morales-Sanchez, Xavier Mourey and Zach Kahana all picked up forfeit wins.  Jesse Domask and Patrick Daly each won with pins over their opponents.  The 1-0 Panther Mat Cats will wrestle Cinnaminson at 5PM tonight.  Here is the link if you would like to watch:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skCLjavct70
