This week at the May monthly meeting of the Palmyra Board of Education, members of PHSFEE presented a check to Palmyra High School. Board of Education Vice President, Erica Campbell accepted the check on behalf of PHS.
The support of PHSFEE (the Palmyra High School Foundation for Educational Excellence- a 501(c)3 ) has brought in over $63,000 in grants and donations since they formed to support Palmyra High School. Reporter Jarrad Saffern of the Burlington County Times covered this story - a link to their article is here.
Principal, Ms. Sabo shared that she is grateful for a foundation as involved and supportive as PHSFEE. "Thanks to their support, we were able to update our new Science lab, expand our Art offerings by purchasing a full class-set of new digital cameras with accompanying equipment and, most recently, advance our efforts to become a more culturally responsive and equitable school."
A reminder that PHSFEE is sponsoring a panel on the PHS experience with panelists made up of recent grads sharing their college experience and how PHS prepared them for the next step in their education. A link to the PHSFEE page with access information is here.
