Dear Parents and Guardians:
The Board of Education, administrators, and staff of Palmyra Middle School and High School warmly welcome you to our Virtual Back-to-School Night. The emphasis of the evening will be on offering descriptions of our curriculum, programs, class expectations, and of course, the opportunity to “meet” your child’s teachers. Normally, you would come to the building and walk through your child’s daily schedule. In essence, you will be doing the same today, but virtually visiting each of his or her classes. As you navigate the spreadsheet for Back-to-School-Night, please have your child’s schedule available so you can visit the accurate class.
Lastly, you will find the link to our master course list to “visit” each of your child’s classes at the bottom of this letter. Simply click on the link of the respective teacher and corresponding period and the video will begin. Please note that the links and presentations will not expire and you will be able to view the presentations multiple times.
If you have additional questions for your child’s teacher, please contact him or her via school email. Additionally, you can always reach out to our school counselors, Child Study Team, athletic trainer or nurse through our normal email communications.
In closing, we thank you for taking the time to attend our Virtual Back-to-School-Night. We realize the many challenges the pandemic has imposed on our regular operations. Thank you for being a community partner as we overcome hurdles together.
