Late this afternoon, the Burlington County Health Department announced the preemptive closure of ALL Burlington County school districts from Monday, March 16, 2020 until Friday, April 17, 2020.
As was communicated earlier today, we have information available on our website, www.palmyraschools.com.

District teachers and staff will attend a Teacher In-Service Day on Monday, March 16, 2020.
School will be closed for students.
Home instruction will begin on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 and continue through Friday, April 17, 2020.
A tech survey was previously sent out to assess internet access in student homes.
If a parent needs a device to be used at home, please let the school principal’s office know.

This morning, Palmyra School District conducted testing of the new EMERGENCY ALERT & LOCKDOWN SYSTEMS in all buildings. A full Lock Down Drill was conducted at PHS. Again, this was a drill and NOT an actual emergency.
