The Baseball Team had a busy week, going 2-2. The boys opened the week with a 10-0 win over BCIT Medford. Joe Elmes was nearly perfect on the mound, striking out 18 batters in 6 innings. He gave up just 1 hit to lose the perfect game and no hitter. Joe also had 2 hits and 3 RBI’s to lead the offense. Steve Peltz and Dean Maute each had 2 hits as well. Dean and Brayden Minnix knocked in 2 runs each.
The boys then lost a close one to BCIT Westampton on Tuesday, 8-6. Joe Elmes had 2 hits and scored twice.
The boys responded with an 11-6 win over Pemberton High School on Friday. Joe Elmes had 3 hits and 3 RBI’s. Dean Maute and Nick Adams each had 2 hits as well. Steve Peltz picked up the win striking out 7 Hornets over 4 innings.
The boys finished the week with a 2-0 loss at Doane Academy on Saturday. The boys finished the regular season 10-9. They will begin their playoff run on Thursday most likely at Manville.
The Softball Team also had a very busy week and also went 2-2 on the week. The girls started the week with a 22-11 loss to BCIT Westampton. Olivia Lynch, Gabby Gray and Charlotte Reis all had 3 hits. Olivia Lynch also had 6 RBI’s to go along with her 3 hits.
The girls then crushed Burlington City on Thursday, 17-3. Olivia Lynch and Sidney Lim each had 2 hits. Grace Stavely had 4 RBI’s. Jasmine Martinez struck out 7 to pick up the win.
The girls hosted the Ed Morgan Memorial Softball Tournament on Saturday. The girls lost a close game to Doane Academy, 15-8, to start the tournament. Gabby Gray, Grace Stavely and Mailee Kahana all had 2 hits and 2 RBI’s to lead the offense for the Lady Panthers. The girls then played Pennsauken Tech in the consolation round and beat them 10-0. Gabby Gray and Sidney Lim each had 2 hits while Charlotte Reis and Elsie Kenson each had 2 RBI’s for the girls. Jasmine Martinez struck out 10 batters to earn the win. The girls are also now 10-9 on the season and will most likely host Paulsboro in the 1st round of the playoffs on Thursday.
The Spring Track & Field Teams ran at the Burlington County Scholastic League’s Divisional Meet at Pennsauken on Saturday. Both the Boys & Girls teams won the Independence Division Championships to pick up some trophies! Here are the top finishers:

The Boys Tennis Team went 1-2 on the week. The boys opened the week with a 3-2 win over Delran High School. Julian Carlino won at 1st singles (6-3, 6-4), Richie Butler won at 2nd singles (4-6, 6-2, 10-3) and Owen Jacobs won at 3rd singles (7-7, 4-6, 10-4). The boys lost to Moorestown Friends on Wednesday, 5-0 and Florence on Thursday, 4-1. Richie Butler won his 2nd singles match 7-6 and 6-4. The boys are 5-6 on the season and are at the BCSL Open today.
