New Jersey Transition Toolkit: School to Adult Life

The New Jersey Department of Education has partnered with state agencies to provide Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) and Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) for students with disabilities (ages 14-21). These services help students transition from school to employment or further education through job counseling, workplace readiness training, and self-advocacy instruction. Additional VR services like job coaching and supported employment are available.
