On Thursday, April 23, 2026, our district will be participating in Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. This annual event across the United States is for parents to take their children to their work and share insights into what they do.

Our Superintendent, Dr. Norton has shared a letter announcing our participation and instructions on how your family can elect to participate on her communications page.

Reminder: You are required to contact your child's school to report their absence. Students will be encouraged to share their work experience with their class upon their return to school.  Please contact your child's building principal if you have any questions. Our District employees are also afforded the opportunity to bring their daughters and/or sons to work on this day.

We are #PalmyraProud of our past participation (see pictures below) and we are looking forward to a day of great educational experiences for all!
