Cheer on our own Panther band as they perform in exhibition at 2:45PM.  They will be performing their Dead Men Tell No Tales pirate-themed show, like you’ve never seen before, showcasing not only the talented band and color guard members, but also displaying their full array of props.  The show begins at 1 PM and concludes around 3:30 PM.  Hope to see you there!

Midterms and Final Exams - Grades 9-12

As indicated in the Welcome Back Newsletter in August, Palmyra High School will be returning to the implementation of Midterm and Final Exams for students in Grades 9-12. This decision was not made lightly, and was made with feedback from graduates and input from teachers.

A great emphasis will be placed on the preparation for exams, the process of taking the exam, and reflecting on progress and areas for improvement.

Midterms and Final Exams will be administered in the subjects of English, Math, Science, Social Studies and World Language.

Midterms will be held for students in Grades 9-12 on January 28, January 29, February 1 and February 2.

Final Exams will be held for students in Grades 9-11 on 6/10, 6/11, 6/14 and 6/15.

Senior exams will be given prior to the start of Senior Week, on 6/7, 6/8, and 6/9.

Each exam will count for 5% of a student's final grade.

Students in Grades 9-11 may become exempt from Final Exams by earning a 90% average through Marking Period 1, 2, 3, 4 and the Midterm. Students in Grade 12 may become exempt from Final Exams by earning an 85% average through Marking Period 1, 2, 3, 4, and the Midterm. Students in an Advanced Placement course who take the end of course College Board exam are exempt from taking the final exam, regardless of grade. A student may decide to take the final exam or make use of the exemption.

More information about Midterm Exams will be shared in early January.

Dual Credit at PHS

Palmyra High School is excited to offer students the opportunity to earn high school and college credit at the same time through our Dual Credit Program, in partnership with Rowan College at Burlington County (RCBC) and Stockton University.

Enrollment Reminder
Enrollment in a dual credit course at Palmyra High School does not automatically enroll your student with the partnering college or university. Parents/guardians must initiate and complete the college registration process in order for their student to be officially enrolled and eligible to receive college credit.

Students currently enrolled in a dual credit course will receive information regarding registration and deadlines through ParentSquare.

Tuition Information
Thanks to the generous support of the Palmyra High School Foundation for Educational Excellence, RCBC Dual Credit Tuition is fully covered for PHS students.

Please note: Stockton University tuition is not covered by the Palmyra School DIstrict and will be the responsibility of the student’s parent or guardian.

For additional information about the Dual Credit Program, please visit the Palmyra High School website and navigate to: Students → ECHS/CCP. You may also reach out to Mr. Devlin or your grade-level counselor with any questions

PSAT Day - Palmyra High School

Each year, Palmyra High School offers the PSAT to students in Grades 9-11. For our 9th grade students, it is an introduction to College Board standardized testing. For Grade 10 students, it is a chance to show growth from Grade 9. For Grade 11, it is a final tune-up prior to taking the SAT. Additionally, Grade 11 students can qualify for PSAT/NMSQT scholarships and recognition.

Students in Grade 9-12 will have an early dismissal on 10/22. Students in Grades 7 and 8 will have a typical day of school.

School counselors will be joining English classes to prepare students for test day.

A more detailed schedule for Grades 9-12 will be shared in advance of 10/22.
