A message from Dr. McBride: Palmyra School District Families, The preemptive closure of Palmyra School District was initiated based on the recommendation of the Burlington County Health Department. District schools will be closed for students from March 16 – April 19, 2020. Although we anticipate re-opening on April 20, 2020, the actual date will be dependent upon the recommendation of the Burlington County Health Department. Palmyra School District staff will be reporting on Monday, March 16, 2020 to make preparations and finalize plans for remote instruction. These are unprecedented times and I kindly ask for your patience and understanding as our dedicated team works through the unique challenge of providing remote instruction for such a long duration of time. Remote learning for students will begin Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Information about our public health-related school closure and remote learning can be found using the COVID-19 link on the district website. Our teaching staff and school leaders are working very hard to develop instructional lessons that can be adapted for remote learning. Please look for more specifics as they become available.
